Persian Handicrafts – Gorgan- « Zahra Raighi » and « Mahobobe Maleki » handicraft artists of Golestan were among the five selected artists of the national handicraft exhibition with the theme of « Hyrkanian forests ».
According to Mehr reporter, « Zahra Raighi » and « Mahbobo Maleki » handicraft artists of Golestan, were among the five selected artists of the National Handicraft Event Exhibition with the theme of « Hyrkanian Forests ».
Considering the importance of natural resources and the role of activists, artists and handicraftsmen in the protection of biodiversity, the production of handicraft products with a sustainable development approach with the participation of the provinces of Gilan, Mazandaran, Golestan, North Khorasan and Semnan under the title of national event exhibition titled Hyrkanian Forests It was put on the agenda.
The closing ceremony of this national event was held in Tehran with the presence of Maryam Jalali, Deputy Minister of Handicrafts of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts, and the selected artists of this exhibition were honored.
« Zahra Raighi » presented a hand-woven Jajim work with Metkazin design with dyeing and natural fibers and « Mahbobe Maleki » with a table cloth made of hand-woven cotton decorated with a cotton flower pattern as a symbol of the province’s agriculture were among the best works of art of this national event. Their awards were presented to the representative of the province.
The use of raw materials and permitted colors, the appropriate use of local raw materials, the use of renewable raw materials, attention to the values of local culture, the use of local knowledge and art, attention to the originality of the work in the region, the introduction of environmental values and biodiversity, creativity in design. And the inspiration from nature, the quality of the final payment of the work and the non-use of endangered plant and animal species are the indicators that the judges took into consideration when reviewing their works.
