Commercialization of handicrafts in foreign tourist destination cities

Iran handicrafts – The CEO of Irangerdi and Jahangerdi, the specialized mother company, said: commercialization of handicrafts is one of the priorities of the 13th government and this issue is followed seriously in the cities that are the main destination of foreign tourists.

According to Mehr News Agency, Ruhollah Hosseinzadeh stated at the opening ceremony of the first exhibition of creative industries products (My Iran) which was held at the Museum of Nations located in Iran’s Ghaitariya Park: This exhibition was organized with the focus of artists and handicraft activists and we hope to witness We should support this field more, because the field of handicrafts is of great importance and we are looking for the development and support of this craft in the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts.

The CEO of the specialized parent company for the development of Iran tourism and tourism added: « In today’s world, we have an identity and identity in handicrafts, and while the countries of the world are looking for the commercialization of handicrafts, we have neglected this issue internally, but we have the hope that in the government Thirteenth, this stream should be cultured and launched.

Handicrafts and creating jobs for female heads of the household

Azita Hemtayan, head of the secretariat of the support organization for domestic jobs, also said in this ceremony: « With the start of the 13th government, the approach of this secretariat is a transformational approach, and we are looking for the secretariat to play a more important role, and for this purpose, we determined the road map. »

He added: For this reason, we went towards business facilitation and fortunately, we are enjoying good growth. Currently, we have 516 courses in the field of home businesses, and among them, handicrafts are one of the most important topics that we pay serious attention to.

Hemtayan added: One of the goals we are pursuing is to create jobs for female heads of households, and in this regard, we are looking to help develop the businesses of female heads of households by holding sales markets.

The first exhibition of creative industries products under the title « Iran Man » was officially opened today, Saturday, September 5th, at Qaitarieh Park in Tehran. From 17:00 to 23:00, this exhibition hosted people interested in handicrafts, traditional arts and souvenirs.
