The Iranian historical telegraph house of Jask city should be revived

Jask – Deputy Minister of Handicrafts of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts said: Revival of the Iranian historical telegraph house in Jask helps to increase tourism activities in this city.

According to Mehr reporter, Maryam Jalali visited this historical building on Sunday morning while attending the Jask telegraph house and referring to the capacities of the Jask telegraph house, she said: cultural capacity due to the history of this building, artistic capacity due to the type of construction and tourism capacity due to the sea that It is next to it and this can attract and develop the tourism of Jask city.

The building of the Jask telegraph house is one of the oldest telegraph houses in Iran, which was originally built as a business center of the East India Company and later became a telegraph house. This building was established by the British in Jask in 1869 AD (153 years ago) and in 1256, the British government formed a small military guard to take care of the telegraph transmitter facilities in Jask.
